These candies from my “Glitter, Twinkle, Sparkle, Shine” preschool graduation party make the perfect favors for your rising stars.
Time: 30 minutes
Cost: $9
Materials:
- Pink and white candy melts (such as Wilton)
- Star candy mold
- Circle candy mold
- White edible glitter (optional)
Directions:
Step 1: Melt your candy according to the directions on the package. Squeeze the melted candy into the molds according to the directions on the candy molds.
Step 2: Tap the molds with the melted candy in them on the counter a few times. This helps the melted candy get into all of the fine details of the molds as well as removes any air bubbles that may be trapped.
Step 3: Place the candy molds in the refrigerator to harden for 15 minutes. Remove after hardened and release formed candies from the molds.
Step 4: If you’d like a little extra sparkle, dust your candy stars with edible glitter.
Step 5: Affix stars to circles using a dab of melted candy. Package your custom edible favors in small favor boxes.
