Wanting a simple, fun party birthday party for my three-year-old son, I chose to concentrate on things that mattered to him: superheroes, cake and Batman himself! Set in a large backyard, the children were encouraged to run freely and use any of the on-hand props, while parents took delight in capturing their own moments with an outdoor photo booth complete with a superhero-esque background. The best part was when Batman ran in (set to music from The Dark Knight Rises). He was so authentic looking with a shiny black cape billowing in the wind – even the adults’ jaws dropped in awe!
