Planning a kids’ birthday party? Keep kids entertained with a fun activity that allows them to put together their own party favors! Kids can create custom party favors for themselves by decorating and filling goodie bags with their snack of choice to take home after the party ends. Watch the video below to learn how to build your own birthday party favors, brought to you by Evite in partnership with Welch’s® Fruit Snacks.
To begin, frame your party space with a fun balloon backdrop for a pop of color. Next, begin placing the party favors on top of the table and styling the rest of your space. Set the table with your child’s favorite birthday favors, from crafts and toys to Welch’s Fruit Snacks. Welch’s Fruit Snacks are made with Real Fruit and bursting with delicious taste!
Spruce up your space by choosing bright, colorful decor that matches your theme. We chose a brightly colored balloon backdrop that incorporated fruit balloons as our showstopping centerpiece, but you can also hang a “Happy Birthday” banner, streamers or a piñata. We also strung a rainbow-colored pennant banner along the front of the favor table and lined the underside of the table with tissue paper honeycomb balls.
Place your party favors in the center of the table so guests can fill their favor bags. We used clear glass containers to hold each party favor so they were easily accessible to guests. We chose an assortment of favors, including rubber bouncy balls, sunglasses, bubbles, kazoos and, of course, Welch’s Fruit Snacks. Welch’s Fruit Snacks are made with real fruit and bursting with delicious taste – the perfect snacks for a birthday party!
Elevate your boxes of Welch’s Fruit Snacks on a cake stand so they stand tall in the center of the table.
Let your guests personalize their goodie bags with stickers, colored pencils and felt tip pens, then add their favorite toys and crafts. Enjoy!
