Simple Sweet & Savory Sliders for Your Next Game Day Get-Together

Peanut butter and bacon!? Swiss and grape sauce!? From “Big Game” watch parties to engagement celebrations, these unique, simple, sweet and savory sliders are the perfect party fare to make for your next big, or small, get-together! Watch the video below to learn how to make your own.

 

Ingredients: 

 

The Fluff Presley: 
  • 18 ct. sweet rolls
  • 4 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp. marshmallow fluff
  • 1 pkg. bacon
  • 2 large bananas

 

The Sweet Roll Cristo w/ Grape Sauce:
  • 18 ct. sweet rolls
  • 2 – 8 oz. pkg. Swiss cheese
  • 16 oz. oven roasted turkey slices
  • 16 oz. honey ham slices
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup concord grape jelly
The Simple Italian:
  • 18 ct. sweet rolls
  • 4 tbsp. pesto
  • 4 Roma tomatoes
  • 2 – 8 oz. pkg. provolone cheese
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 16 oz. salami
  • 16 oz. oven roasted turkey slices
  • 1 purple onion
  • 2 tbsp. oregano

 

Directions:

The Fluff Presley:

1. Horizontally slice rolls. Keep together for easier assembly (do not individually slice or separate rolls).
2. Generously cover one side of rolls with peanut butter and the other side with marshmallow fluff.
3. Layer peanut butter side with 2-3 slices of banana and 3-4 2″ sections of bacon.
4. Top with marshmallow side and serve!

 

The Sweet Roll Cristo w/ Grape Sauce:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Horizontally slice rolls. Keep together for easier assembly (do not individually slice or separate rolls).
3. Layer quartered Swiss cheese, 1 slice turkey, 1 slice ham and top with a second layer of cheese. Top with bun.
4. Melt butter and brush tops of buns.
5. Place on baking sheet, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 mins at 350 degrees.
6. Let cool for 5 mins. Dust with powdered sugar.
7. Serve with concord grape jelly for dipping and enjoy!

 

The Simple Italian:
1. Horizontally slice rolls. Keep together for easier assembly (do not individually slice or separate rolls).
2. Generously cover both sides with pesto
3. Layer bottom bun with 2 slices of turkey and 3 slices of salami.
4. Top with quartered provolone cheese, tomato slices, chopped onion slices, and lettuce.
5.  Finish a dusting of oregano, add bun top and serve!
