DIY New Year’s Eve Champagne Balloon Arch

If you’re planning a New Year’s Eve party this year and really looking to blow your guests away (pun intended), try making this DIY champagne balloon arch made with bunches of balloons. You can even coordinate the colors to match the theme of your party. Use the balloon arch to transform your space or as a photo booth backdrop so guests can snap pics. Materials:

  • Mylar champagne balloon
  • Balloon pump
  • Microfilament (“Fishing line”)
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Balloons in assorted colors and sizes
  • Spray Paint (optional)
  • Spray Adhesive (optional)
  • Crafting glitter (optional)
  • Additional decor (optional)
  • Painter’s tape

Directions:

Step 1: Blow up mylar balloon, spray-paint, and lay flat until dry. 

Step 2: Use spray adhesive and crafting glitter to decorate your bottle neck.

Step 3: Add additional decorations. 

Step 4: Blow up balloons of all colors and sizes (No helium required). 

Step 5: Use a needle and fishing line to create your champagne bubbles. 

Step 6: Attach “bubble” balloon garland to mylar champagne bottle balloon using painters tape and hang balloon garland with fishing line and painter’s tape.
