Watch the video below to learn how to make your own.
Ingredients:
- Candy melts
- Buttercream frosting
- Paintbrush
- Heatproof bowl
- Parchment paper
- Spoon
- Candy eyes
Directions:
Step 1: Melt each color candy melt in a separate heatproof bowl. Pour a spoonful of the melted chocolate onto a piece of parchment paper.
Step 2: Use a clean paintbrush to spread the candy melt out across the parchment paper, make the shape wider and rounder at the base.
Step 3: Repeat several times to make 3-4 brushstrokes in each color. Set the parchment aside to allow the candy melts to cool completely and harden before using, about 10 minutes.
Step 4: Add a small spoonful of buttercream on the back of each brushstroke to attach to the cake.
Step 5: Use buttercream to adhere candy eyes and a candy beak to the front of the cake, creating a face.
