Monster Masquerade Décor

Set a spooky scene by hanging a piece of black paper behind the main table as your backdrop, then cover the paper with white gauze to add texture and make it look extra eerie. For the food table, start by laying down a plain white tablecloth covered with black gauze. Frame this printable welcome sign on one side, then arrange the food and drinks front and center. Select several accent pieces to bring the theme to life, like black crows and multi-colored pumpkins. You can even enlarge the welcome sign to hang on the wall or in a doorway. Encourage guests to come dressed as their favorite monster!

These monster masks aren’t just made for partygoers. Affix them to pumpkins for a festive piece of party décor. Try spray painting the pumpkins in shades of black, purple and green for an extra special touch.

Add a pop of color to your black-and-white background by hanging this printable banner behind the food and drinks table. Just download and cut out the banner on a piece of plain 8.5 x 11″ cardstock, then fold and tape the tabs on the back to a piece of plain black ribbon. Use a piece of tape to secure the ribbon to a wall or doorway.

Monster Masquerade Food

Let monsters munch on RITZ Hot Dog Mummies made with bacon, bite-sized hot dogs and RITZ crackers. Download the coordinating recipe flag so guests know what’s on the menu. Just print it on a piece of cardstock, then tape it to a toothpick. We’ve even included some blank recipe flags so you can write in your own monster creations while sticking with your theme!

What could be better than brains at a monster masquerade? Mold marshmallow treats into SWEDISH FISH Brains with white chocolate for a memorable munchie. Adhere this coordinating recipe flag to a toothpick and stick it inside so guests know what they’re being served.

For something slightly less spooky, but just as fun, make these yummy Pumpkin CHIPS AHOY!wiches. Coated in candy, chocolate chips and festive frosting, these cookies are anything but basic. Don’t forget to top it off with the coordinating recipe flag.

Monster Masquerade Drinks

Stick to one signature drink, like this grape soda spritzer garnished with fresh blackberries. For the finishing touch, add a plastic bat straw so guests can sip in style.

Keep the selection simple by adhering these printable bottle labels to store-bought soda. Guests may not be slurping up actual slime or drinking real goosebump punch, but it’ll feel like it!

Monster Masquerade Activity

Show off your monster masks by making a photo booth backdrop complete with printable photo props. Set up is simple: Just hang a piece of green paper on an empty wall then add black gauze on top. Gather guests, have them strike a pose and post the photos on social media with #GhostessParty. Share all the photos on your Evite invitation or send them home with guests as a fun favor.

For photo props, all you need are scissors, 1/4″ wooden dowels (available at craft stores) and a hot glue gun. After downloading the free printable photo props, print them on cardstock, cut them out, then glue them onto the wooden dowels. Make sure the dowel is placed correctly on each prop. Set up a side table next to your photo booth to hold your props (we recommend putting your props in a white jar to bring out the black and green in the color scheme). Pro-tip: Add dried beans or sand to the bottom to help hold your props upright.

Monster Masquerade Party Favors

Give guests a goodbye treat by sending them home with some monster munch. Purchase paper treat bags in classic Halloween colors, affix the printable goody bag tag on the front, then fill it with your favorite kinds of candy (we used SOUR PATCH KIDS and SWEDISH FISH).
