Let your love of wine be known by creating your own custom coasters featuring our free printables with witty wine puns. Follow these four steps to get started, brought to you by Cavit wines. Just don’t forget to BYOB (bring your own bottle).

Time: 30 minutes, plus drying time
Level of Difficulty: Easy
Materials:
- Free printables (the collection includes 10, 3.75″ coaster templates)
- Scissors
- Cardstock
- 10 4″ x 4″ cork board squares (available at craft stores)
- Decoupage
- Foam brush
- Utility knife
- Acrylic aerosol spray sealer (optional)
- Wine glasses
Directions:
Step 1: Print and cut out our free printables on a piece of plain white cardstock.

Step 2: Apply decoupage to the back of your printable using a foam brush, then adhere the printable onto the center of a cork board square. Let dry for 15 minutes. Pro-Tip: Place a heavy object (like a book) on top of the cork board coaster to ensure it dries evenly.

Step 3: Use a utility knife to cut out the coaster.

Step 4: Decoupage the top and sides of your coaster to make it water (and wine) resistant. Pro-Tip: For a less streaky surface, seal your coaster with an acrylic aerosol spray instead of the decoupage. Depending on your preference, you can use either a matte or gloss finish.

Step 5: Sit back, relax and pour yourself a glass of wine (we like Cavit Pinot Grigio and Cavit Pinot Noir). Pro-Tip: Use smaller glasses for white wine and larger glasses for red (certain stores sell special glasses for each). Typically, red wine glasses are taller and wider than white wine glasses because the wider base gives the wine more breathing room and allows the bigger and bolder aromas to emerge.
