Transform baked potatoes from boring side to superstar main with this baked potato bar how-to, brought to you by Rubbermaid® Easy Find Lids™. Whether your guests are sweet on sour cream or hog wild over bacon, they can pile on the toppings as they please.
Set up your station on a countertop or sideboard. A tablecloth or table runner protects wood and makes for easy post-party clean-up.
Split the tops of the baked potatoes, then set them buffet-style on a platter. Go all out with toppings — we opted for chives, sour cream, shredded cheese, red onion, tomatoes and bacon bits, but you can also offer red pepper, chili, guacamole, caramelized onion — whatever strikes your fancy.
Present toppings in matching small glass containers (like the Rubbermaid® Easy Find Lids™ shown here) to show them off — and make packing up leftovers a cinch: Just place the snap-on lid on top and refrigerate! Don’t forget to stick a single spoon into each container to keep the mix-ins from mixing.
