Celebrate Día de los Muertos with this to-die-for sugar skull makeup for a Halloween costume or Day of the Dead celebration.
Materials:
- Makeup primer
- Foundation brush
- White creme foundation (available at costume stores)
- Makeup sponge
- White powder (available at costume stores)
- Powder sponge
- Blush
- Blush brush
- Cosmetic glitter (available at costume stores)
- Makeup brush
- Black liquid eyeliner
- Turquoise liquid eyeliner
- False eyelashes and glue
- DIY flower crown
Step 1: Apply primer to face with foundation brush or fingers and allow to set for 30 seconds.
Step 2: Apply white creme foundation all over the face with a makeup sponge or fingers. Set with white powder applied with a sponge or powder brush. Then apply blush with a blush brush to add contouring to cheekbones.
Step 3: Apply turquoise eyeliner in irregular circles around eyes.
Step 4: Apply black eyeliner to define outlines around eyes and decorative accents, such as spider webs, scalloped edges, skull nose, leaves, skeleton teeth and more. Fill in some details with turquoise eyeliner.
Step 5: Apply cosmetic glitter with a fine makeup brush.
Step 6: Apply eyeliner to top eyelids. Then glue on false eyelashes.
Step 7: Add a DIY flower crown.
