Decorate your party right down to the cookies! We had Michele Chung from Confections by Michele help us create a mask-shaped DIY cookie cutter for our Cinderella Masquerade Ball, but it’s also perfect for Mardi Gras. To create your own, watch the video below and download your free printable mask outline to follow along. Or use the video as inspiration for creating your own cookie cutter shape!
Materials:
- Disposable foil baking pan
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Tape
- Paper
- Pencil
Step 1: Cut a 2-inch wide strip from the baking pan. Repeat (for a total of two strips).
Step 2: Fold each end of strip around ruler. The new width should be 1 inch.
Step 3: Tape the two strips of baking pan together to create one circular strip of cooking pan.
Step 4: Shape the circular piece of the baking pan into your designated shape (draw it out on paper first). We created a mask cookie cutter, but you could create a different shape. If it’s too long, adjust the size by re-taping the two strips together.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 to create an eye cookie cutter used for the mask.
